• The 4-week program for medical students will include three, 1-hour Zoom calls each week. 
        • All sessions will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 1 pm EDT / 12 pm CDT starting the week of June 4.

        This intro course will help you learn about the unique specialty that is Physiatry (PM&R) through lectures, demos, panels and small group discussions on a various PM&R topics. They will be led by faculty from PM&R departments around the country. Presentations will cover topics like:

        • Sports Medicine
        • Pediatric Rehabilitation
        • Spinal Cord Injury
        • Disabilities & Physician Bias
        • Brain Injury Medicine
        • PM&R Career/Training Panels

        There will also be additional materials on the topics provided each week to include articles, podcasts, videos to help you explore each of the topics further.

        • The program is open to current medical students, from US and International medical schools.
        • Make sure you are available to attend all of the sessions listed below.

        • Certificates of completion will be provided to everyone who attends 9 or more of the sessions.
